Suicide: Purpose or Waste? And Why So Many Deaths?

A post from LinkedIn struck me as an important topic to address: Suicide. Are We failing Each Other As A Society? I am grateful to her for this woman’s courage in asking this important question.

No. We are NOT failing as a society, no matter how it may appear. We are individually and collectively deciding how well we want to work together as soul groups to bring light and love into the world through adversity. We are currently learning and growing on a soul level about how to live and thrive, or give up and give in, through this period in time. We are challenging our soul decisions, working together as cell bodies of Planet Earth. Our responses determine what influence these challenges have on our collective consciousness, and how that will affect the world as we know it.

We Chose To Be Here Now

What I know is that each of us has selected the time, location, family, societal structure and every other component of our early life prior to birth. We have made covenants with important souls in our lives such as parents, siblings and other close people about the probabilities of our first 18-20 years of life regarding the lessons we choose to learn from each other and how we respond to the challenges we meet every moment. There is meaning and purpose to the decisions we made and how well we respond to the influences we put in our early lives. We then take the results of the decisions we made and use them to decide how to move forward in life. It all has purpose.

Learn, Grow, Challenge Ourselves

During this particular time in history, combined with the energies of the cosmos, have so many challenges and learning opportunities, many souls have incarnated here and now to learn, grow, and challenge themselves. We challenge how well we have incorporated prior soul lessons from other lifetimes and how we handle that knowledge in this lifetime. It is not random chance. It is purposefully planned well before birth.

We have had many courageous souls enter the Earth’s plane through this last century who face important challenges. Devastating issues that bring a person to the brink of suicide, and the decisions made at that point are important soul lessons no matter the final decision. The agreement to face that decision point is part of the individual’s life plan, essential to soul growth.

Why Are So Many Leaving The Planet?

On a similar note, consider how many souls are leaving the planet. It is important to understand that the continuing and changing lessons we face today, and in the near future, are lessons unnecessary for them to face at this point in their progression. They can leave if they have completed their planned lessons, and do not choose to deal with further pain. We who are left behind can and should mourn the loss of the part they played in our lives, while we learn to accept that there is purpose in their release from this dimension. Challenging, yes. Yet an important part of our own growth and courage.

There is another very important reason many are leaving by their own hand or through other means right now. They each have work in other realms, or in other lifetimes, that is the necessary support system set up for those of us who stay to face the changes. Their support helps us all find the courage to move forward. We decide whether to be part of the solution or of the challenges. How we use those decisions as gifts of learning are up to us in every moment of life.

It is not a failure for society when people do commit suicide or find other ways to die. They have free will and each test their own strength and courage. It is an individual challenge and response from which we all learn.

Let Go, Let God! Unconditionally!

Blessed Be

As difficult as it is to accept, the saying “Let Go, Let God, Unconditionally” is very true and difficult to accomplish. As in all situations, affirm for healing to the highest good on all levels of being for all concerned. Then move forward with courage, grace and facility.

So shall it be. So it is! Blessed be.
