Sometimes it is actual help in solving the crime and seeing the perpetrators brought to justice. Other times it is the strong need for understanding and closures.
One example from my own experience is a mother who was told that here beautiful son had committed suicide. She simply did not believe it. When she came to me, I was able to give her peace of mind by seeing that it was actually a murder and put the pieces of the puzzle together regarding motive, opportunity, and the means. Having been more worried about the soul of her son for the sin of suicide than actually trying to reopen the case provided, the relief and closure were all she really needed. She didn’t need to take revenge on the other boys. She simply wanted the truth. She later called to let me know that following up on the information I provided proved accurate, and that she was grateful for the help.
The level of accuracy the psychic can give depends upon the information and cooperation provided by the other people involved in the investigation. When misleading information or secrets obstruct the energy pathways, it can negatively impact the outcome. The psychic investigator works to uncover hidden information that can be helpful in the resolution of the crime.
What people do with the information following the investigation is up to them. In one case, the Houston Police Department in 2011 first followed, then discounted information from a psychic that had led the detectives to a mass grave. They claimed they would have found it on their own, although that may have taken years to discover. The department was critical of the information the psychic provided, yet did admit that such tips are often credible. So they cannot discount the information,despite the source. It is easier for them to dismiss the use of psychic investigators and claim they solved the case on their own.
One thing to watch for in seeking help is the psychic fraud: a person falsely claiming to have these intuitive abilities and cheats people out of the money as they drag on supposed investigations with no results. Anything real can be faked, and this is an area where predators lurk. The frauds are good at what they do. Use wisdom in who you decide to work with.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Various techniques are used to investigate crimes.
One powerful technique is psychometry, where the psychic actually touches items related to the victim or the crime in order to “read” the energetic story of the crime itself. Physical items hold an energetic history that can be very helpful.
Another powerful tool is for the psychic to tap into the emotional threads of connection to the crime and individuals connected to it through a relative or friend of the crime victim. That person becomes a type of “witness” through the psychic connection to the situation or person. By following the threads of awareness from the witness to the event, valuable information can be gained by the intuitive investigator.
Remote Viewing is another tool, where a psychic can send a portion of her/his consciousness to a remote location to look around and gather details valuable to the investigation process. Time and space are no barriers to a skilled Remote Viewer.
Yet another technique is through communication with a deceased soul to ask questions and obtain important details. Such was the case in the reported suicide I mentioned earlier.
Even the use of delicate technical equipment can be helpful.
Each technique is more effective when law enforcement and the people involved provide confirmation or dismissal of impressions gained by the psychic. Access to evidence and conversations with all parties also helps.
As a side note, it is an interesting fact that governments and military groups regularly employ the skills of psychic investigators. They have done so for decades, secretly.
IS THIS TYPE OF INVESTIGATION ALWAYS ACCURATE
IS IT ACCURATE?
Most of this type of work is accurate, or at least close enough to point out important and relevant information.
Although this type of investigation can be very helpful, it is not easy or immediately clearly understood. It is demanding work. And it can sometimes lead the investigator down a purposely devious path of misleading clues. Generally, for only a short time. Once those false clues are checked out and discarded, the true evidence can often be revealed. And yes, investigators who do not continue past the initial impressions can make mistakes and be misled. Not all information gained through these techniques is correct or directly connected to the case at hand. After all, there has been a great deal of time and other energies at any location that must be identified as unrelated, and discarded. Yet that is the same process used by police investigators as they discover and sift through data to find correct information.
It is true that these investigations can initially result in misinformation. For instance, if a kidnapping victim is sedated, terrorized, well hidden, or has given completely into the will of the kidnapper, that victim’s energies can be so depleted that no life force is found by the investigator. Some very skilled psychics have been known to misinterpret these situations as death. If the kidnapper’s energies are extremely powerful, through drugs or imbalanced emotions, they can at least temporarily block the victim’s energy patterns so effectively that there is no access to her/his life force to track. The same is true in crime scenes if the perpetrator is in such a high state of emotional frenzy, or even another strong psychic, then the clues and paranormal evidence is either missing or tainted. So even good investigators have known to be wrong. However, with patience and diligence, a good investigator can often uncover the real truth.
Though there are some errors, this type of investigation has a very good track record and is certainly worth trying.
