When you hear of one type of man-ape in a certain geographical location and something different elsewhere, that is because the different races found the climate and geography of those locations better fit their needs and that is where they settled. They are called by many names: Bigfoot, Yeti, Skunk Ape, Yowie, Almas, The Grassman, Wendigo, Orang Pendek, Mapingauri, and Yeren, to name a few. They are all related, yet much different according to their original genetic differences and evolution. As you might guess, some are more violent than others, and many are much more peaceful. Much like humans.

Although the Sasquatch and the homo-sapiens were once very friendly, the physically weaker homo-sapiens eventually grew fearful of the Sasquatch and felt they had to fight to protect themselves. They were wrong, but all it took was one or two rogue beings in each species to build fear. Eventually, all of the Sasquatch tribes learned that it was better to separate themselves and live more peaceful lives separate from the “humans.” With enough time, they became legends and campfire stories rather than companions. Now feared and hunted, you can understand why they are very careful to avoid human contact as much as possible.

LAVERNE: I have heard stories, however, of the Sasquatch saving stranded hikers. One man I knew was lost in a snowstorm in Mt. Shasta, nearly dead of hypothermia and starvation. He passed out, thinking it was the end. When he awoke, he was surprised to see large hairy ape-people tending to his wounds and offering him food and drink. He said they were very kind and good healers. He stayed with them a week and had the full run of their dwelling, but not allowed to go through any of the exits. After that week, they blindfolded him and took him outside to leave him near the base of the mountain. He waited until he no longer heard their noises, and took of his blindfold. He was safe, healed and extremely grateful for the kindness he had been shown. In the meantime, his family had searched for him and thought he was dead. When he finally arrived home and shared his miraculous story, they were shocked and overjoyed. The man was sincere when he told me this tale in person, and I believe he was telling the truth.

These magnificent beings are real. I have heard them in the woods, but not clearly seen any. Yet my message from my guides and the first-person account have convinced me of what I already felt was true. The Sashquatch are real beings. Think of them kindly for their need to hide and dodge.
